Liz Cheney said that Republicans who supported Trump’s Big Lie and the
insurrection should be BARRED from running nationally:
And guess what? They’re about to OUST her from power. And they’re running
around the country trying to restrict voting access to steal a
generation’s worth of elections.
We can’t forget that if Republicans succeeded on January 6th, we wouldn’t
be a democracy anymore.
We can’t forget that more than 140 were injured and 5 died on January 6th.
And 147 Republicans, fresh with blood on their hands and fully aware of
that, then VOTED to overturn a free and fair election in a ravaged Capitol
building to hand a victory to Donald Trump.
We need to make them pay. We need to make them own this EVERY single day.
Otherwise they’re going to succeed in stealing our democracy from us. So
we’re going to make sure voters remember January 6th and we’re going to
defend our majorities in Congress.
