Friend,
I know what it means to live as a DACA recipient, a health professional, and an essential worker during the COVID-19 pandemic. And last week, I was honored to be given the opportunity to share my story when I was invited as Dr. Jill Biden’s guest to President Biden’s Joint Address to Congress.
My name is Javier, and I am a nurse who has been serving on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the pandemic, millions of undocumented essential workers like me have made enormous personal sacrifices in order to keep Americans safe and healthy, and I believe there should be a pathway to citizenship for all.
I’m so grateful to the Biden Administration for giving me this platform, and I’m so inspired that a little more than 100 days into the new Administration, a pathway to citizenship for millions is closer than ever before.
Yet despite this progress, nothing is guaranteed. In uncertain moments like this, it can be helpful to let your allies know what’s on our minds and just share our experiences.
Join the conversation, Friend: share your thoughts with fellow supporters on the progress the Biden Administration has made on immigration in its first 100 days and what you’re experiencing right now.

My wife and daughter are both U.S. citizens. Every day, I worry about being separated from them. But with the new Administration in office, I’m feeling hopeful for the future.
In his Joint Address, President Biden made clear the urgent need to provide millions of deserving immigrants with a desperately needed pathway to citizenship that will keep families across the country safe and together. The president knows that if America is serious about making an economic recovery, it’s time to make us citizens.
This isn’t just the right thing to do. It’s also what the majority of Americans want. People across the country are looking to our leaders to finally deliver real and lasting solutions that keep families together and ensure our communities and economy can thrive.
But what do you think about the way this situation is unfolding? Do you think fellow supporters are experiencing it the same way you are?

DACA has given me huge opportunities, but no one should be forced to live their lives in two-year increments. The Biden Administration and Congress must act now.
Thank you for supporting a pathway to citizenship today,
Javier Quiroz Castro
