^That is how much of your California taxpayer money the GOP is willing to spend on the election to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The GOP is doing everything they can to drain our and other CA Democrats’ resources — starting with this nonsensical recall election. We took a look at our fundraising numbers and with Eric’s next election slated for 2022, we can’t afford to go all-in on campaigning for his re-election AND fighting against this recall.
Our team is proud of the amazing progress we’ve been able to make in California and nationwide over the past few years. Issues like environmental protections, equality, and livable wages are all on the line if the GOP drains all our resources.
Many of our Democratic peers and advocacy organizations here in CA are distracted—tied up in the fight against this recall. That’s why we need your support, John.
