For four long years, friend, we fought hard. We mobilized. We spoke out. Grassroots teams like this one donated whatever they could. And now, we are in the midst of unleashing a bold agenda for the American people – thanks to our emboldened Democratic majorities in Congress and President Biden and Vice President Harris at the helm.

But I want to be honest with you about where we’re at here in Florida. Our work is far from over. Trump won this state in 2020. And now, according to a report from Axios, a new redistricting group formed by a friend of Trump aims to target Florida to flip the House – this comes after the GOP flipped two House seats last year and put themselves in a strong position to take back the majority. We can’t let that happen. The Republican party has demonstrated time and again that they are in no rush to abandon their extremism. Not even with Donald Trump gone.

The progress our nation urgently needs begins with our Democratic House majority. So with Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight reporting Republicans are on track to take back the House, our work to defend it begins now. That’s why I’ve set an ambitious goal to secure 351 Florida Defenders. It's essential we get enough grassroots supporters to activate their membership with an $5 donation before our next big fundraising deadline at midnight tonight.
