Facebook has upheld white supremacist vitriol on their platform for years, leading the way for the formation of white nationalist groups and the deadly insurrection this January. Five people died, and our entire body of Representatives were put in harm's way because of Facebook's reckless lack of governance.

AAPI leader Senator Hirono introduced the SAFE TECH Act this February, and she's kept up the momentum by questioning Facebook's VP for Content Policy. With more AAPI leaders like Senator Hirono, Facebook will finally be held accountable, and hate speech online can be curtailed.
But, Facebook won't go down without a fight. With money and power on their side, we need to show strength in numbers -- by electing lawmakers who will remain on the right side of history.
