Friend,

Last week, I was back home, visiting with Vermonters all over the state and listening to their concerns and hopes for the future.

From conversations with small business owners and community leaders, one thing has stuck with me: Relief from the American Rescue Plan is here. We are seeing the benefits of the many programs, including the State Relief Grant which I helped secure $1.25 billion for Vermont. This legislation is helping Vermonters, ensuring businesses reopen safely and vaccines get in as many arms as possible.

The American Rescue Plan has done so much, but there is much more we must do. We must now turn to address our long-ignored infrastructure.

Infrastructure is not just roads and bridges but also broadband internet access, clean energy standards, updated wastewater networks, and child care investments. Infrastructure means more good-paying jobs, small business support, and even downtown revitalization for our towns.

I know that, Vermonters (and Americans all across the country) understand that, and, thankfully, President Biden knows that, as evidenced by his groundbreaking new infrastructure bill, the American Jobs Plan.

Now, we want to hear from you: If you agree with President Biden's push to address our nation's urgent infrastructure needs, sign your name alongside mine to show your support today.
