Friend,
Republicans are blocking progress on President Biden's new climate and infrastructure bill, and it's time for Democrats to forge ahead without them.
The American Jobs Plan includes crucial climate policies that will bring us much closer to a just, inclusive clean energy future, including a 100% Clean Electricity Standard, targeting 40% of clean energy investments to disadvantaged communities, creating a Civilian Climate Corps, and more. In short, these are desperately needed policies that we can no longer afford to delay.
We can't let fossil-fuel-funded Republicans stand in the way of taking the bold action the economy, climate, and American people need. Sign our petition today to call on Democrats to move forward with the American Jobs Plan now.

Mitch McConnell wasn't afraid to use the budget reconciliation process to bypass Democrats and pass massive tax cuts for the wealthy and large corporations. Now that Democrats are in the majority, they shouldn't fear it, either—especially because climate science and the future of our planet are not something we should compromise on.
If Democrats unite around the American Jobs Plan and use the budget reconciliation process to get it through the Senate—with Vice President Harris casting the tie-breaking vote—they can pass this once-a-generation climate and infrastructure bill even without Republican support.
They can, and they must.
The American Jobs Plan is too important to delay any longer. Add your name to tell Democrats to use budget reconciliation to move the climate and infrastructure bill through Congress. People and the planet are counting on it.
