I am honored to be our party’s nominee for Attorney General, and I will work hard over the next 176 days to fight for our conservative principles, make the case against Mark Herring, and win this election. If you supported my campaign in the Republican convention, thank you. If you voted for one of the other candidates, I hope I can earn your support now. If we stand together, we can win and end the one-party rule in Richmond, and start the great Virginia comeback.
For eight years the Attorney General’s office under Mark Herring has been an embarrassment. Herring has rejected his mandate to be Virginia’s top cop and instead focused on advancing a radical political agenda. He undermines our public safety and our law endorsement officers and his weakness leaves crime victims defenseless. All of that will end when I am Attorney General.
I believe the government of the Commonwealth Virginia has one basic job – keep our people safe. Before anything else, that’s the job.
It means keeping the bad guys behind bars – and the good guys protected. It means ensuring local prosecutors pursue the tough cases, like sexual assault charges – and holding them accountable when they don’t.
I’ve been in the battle for public safety on the front lines – first as a prosecutor where I took violent criminals and predators off our streets.
Mark Herring and the liberal monopoly government in Richmond are un-checked and out of control.
They’ve dramatically reduced the amount of time violent criminals will spend behind bars and their parole board has broken the law in its zeal to release murderers and violent criminals back onto our streets.
I became a prosecutor to get criminals off our streets and protect our families and that is why I am running for Attorney General.
But now we’ve seen left-wing politicians in Richmond who are out of touch, working to undermine our safety. They care more about pleasing national extremists groups than they do about protecting Virginians.
We need a pushback on arrogant political bosses who are out of control and more concerned about the rights of criminals than they are of victims.
We need a check and balance. We need to break up the left-wing monopoly on power in Richmond.
We need a new Attorney General.
They pushed a law to make it possible for criminals to sue police officers into bankruptcy.
They’ve been complicit and watched as violent criminals are released by a crazy, run-away, soft-on-crime parole board.
The leaders of the left-wing monopoly in Richmond even take the side of the radical Defund the Police Movement.
As a Delegate, I’ve stood up to fight them every step of the way. And as Attorney General, I will use the office’s authority to stop them.
As a former prosecutor I’ve been on the frontlines protecting our communities and putting violent criminals behind bars and I know the devastating impact their soft on criminals policies will have.
That’s why I want to be your Attorney General.
We need an Attorney General who will work with our law enforcement officers, not against them. I’ll defend the police, not defund them, – and give them the tools to do their job.
In Richmond they’re trying to expose police officers to bankrupting lawsuits for doing their jobs. And in Northern Virginia, they’re pulling police resource officers out of schools.
Virginia needs an Attorney General who will defend the rule of law and the importance of policing – and that is not Mark Herring.
I’ll defend our constitution – and oppose left-wing radicals who try to get around it.
And we need an Attorney General whose top priority is protecting our communities. Making our communities safe will be my top priority.
I believe all Virginians want safe neighborhoods for our kids. They want violent criminals to remain behind bars. And they want to stand with our law enforcement officers working to keep our communities safe.
We have a lot of work to do to end the radical one-party rule in Richmond and I need your help.
National Democrats are going to start pouring money into Virginia to defend Mark Herring. They got him elected in the first place and they will spend any amount of money to keep him there. I need supporters like you to stand in the gap and fight back. Can I count on you to give $25, $10, or $5 right now? [link removed]
I also need people all across Virginia to talk to their neighbors and friends, the people they see at church, the parents at youth soccer games about why we need a new Attorney General. If you would be willing to help out, please click here and sign up. I would appreciate it.
Over these next 176 days, I am going to work tirelessly to defend our principles and win this election. Together I know we can defeat Mark Herring and make Virginia safer and more secure.
