Today is our first Majority Monday — a new monthly program I’ve launched to share how our Democratic majority is implementing progressive policies to make America and the world better.

In just 5 months, our nation has gone from being a global laggard to leading the world on vaccinations and taming the pandemic. We’re on the path to recovery, and that includes our rebounding economy. Here are three ways we’re charting a new and more hopeful course:


The United States is back in the Paris Climate Agreement and reclaiming a leadership role in bringing the nations of the world together to dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions and preserve a livable planet.

Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, we now have enough vaccine supplies to vaccinate every adult in the country, and we’re now deploying our world-leading vaccine capacity to help other countries save millions of lives.

We’ve sent the For The People Act to the Senate. This bill will expand voting rights, limit the influence of money in politics, reduce gerrymandering, and so much more.

All of this is possible because of you — your votes, your calls, and donations that helped us win key elections. Now we’ve got to keep it going by holding our Democratic majority in the 2022 mid-term elections.
