Your help is needed TODAY to support transformative reforms in this year’s state legislative session! SB 21-173, Rights In Residential Lease Agreements prevents landlords from charging exorbitant late fees and enacts a number of critical eviction court reforms. The bill establishes penalties for illegal evictions and prohibits evictions over late fees alone.

The bill passed through the Senate, but not without a few hostile amendments that weakened a couple of provisions. We need to prevent the CO Apartment Association from hurting the bill any further, and to push House members to repeal the Senate amendments!
