Last week, we got some good news about Facebook's ban of Donald Trump. The company announced that they decided to keep Trump banned from their platforms -- for now.

Facebook said that they are keeping Trump's ban from Facebook and Instagram in place, but the company will make a final decision about his status pending implementation of new policies recommended to them by an oversight board.

In essence, they kicked the can down the road and could reinstate his accounts any day.

Even worse, Trump himself has reportedly missed the limelight and wants to run for President again in 2024. Combined with the potential fundraising and platform that Facebook gives him to reach voters, a second Trump presidency could soon be a reality.

The good news is that Democrats have more than three years to deliver relief and hope to the American people with President Biden's agenda -- if we can build on Democratic majorities in Congress in 2022.

Without Congress, President Biden stands little chance of making the progress that will win voters over, and then Trump will again let his devout base carry him to victory.
