Dear Friend,
Four years ago, Phil celebrated his birthday by announcing his candidacy to serve the people of Colorado as our Attorney General. At the time, I was nervous and did not know what to expect.

Four years later, I am so proud of what Phil has accomplished as Colorado’s Attorney General, defending the rule of law, standing up for the rights of all Coloradans, and protecting our land, air, and water. Phil is committed to President Lincoln’s vision of a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.” That’s why I strongly encouraged him to run, even knowing that it would involve sacrifices for our family.

Phil and I believe in Lincoln’s vision for our nation. We are grateful to our state and nation for affording us opportunities and freedoms. We don’t take that legacy for granted, as both of our families were welcomed here after fleeing religious persecution elsewhere.
