Who do you trust, friend: EWG or pesticide companies? Days before we released the 2021 Dirty Dozen™ list, the Alliance for Food and Farming, a chemical agribusiness front group, launched a media campaign to discredit us. For years, the AFF and other Big Ag front groups have made shutting down the Dirty Dozen a top priority, spreading claims that EWG “scares people fat” and alleging we are “anti-fruits and veggies.” Here's what they really mean: They want to protect their bottom line – not our health. EWG is committed to publishing the Dirty Dozen list, but we can't take any chances – pesticide companies have deep pockets and can spend whatever it takes to stop our work. We set a goal of raising $100K for our Stop Pesticide Pollution Campaign in order to fight these attacks and continue our work. If you help with a donation of $15 or more, we will send you a Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ bag tag as a thank-you. |
We can’t afford to fall short of our fundraising goals – just look what we have to do: |
|
Your donation today will go directly toward our pesticide work. But if we don’t hit the $100,000 fundraising goal, we won’t be able to fight off all the attacks. |
Thank you for your continued support. |
