Since my time as a public defense attorney, I have seen too many lives ruined by the failed war on drugs.

It's long past time we listen to the majority of Minnesotans and Americans who believe we should legalize marijuana and enact restorative justice for nonviolent offenders caught up in our justice system.

This week for the first time in our state's history, our House DFL Majority will bring legalization and expungement to the floor vote where it is expected to pass. Now, we need to make sure it makes its way through the entire Minnesota legislature.
