On this Mother’s Day, we wanted to celebrate with you by ditching the Hallmark portion of the holiday, and really focusing on what the day should be about -- appreciating mothers.

Right now, the United States is the only industrialized country in the world without government-guaranteed paid family leave. The status quo is unacceptable and we must change it. Will you add your name to our petition and demand Congress finally pass Paid Family Leave?

So what’s holding us back from appreciating our mothers not just once a year, but every single day? Three letters: the G-O-P!

Republican lawmakers are the ones who oppose President Biden’s American Families Plan and stand in the way of paid family leave for all at the federal, state, and local levels. This is unacceptable and we intend to do something about it.
