[1]Women's March
Today, we're celebrating all the mothers in our
lives, John.
To honor the occasion, Women's March is fighting relentlessly this
Mother's Day for a Marshall Plan for Moms.
Mothers across this country are expected to do it all — and this pandemic
has only highlighted the fact that so much of the labor that women and
caregivers do every single day is undercompensated, if it's even
recognized at all. That is why we urgently need a Marshall Plan for Moms
that takes bold, necessary action to allow moms to build equity and power,
and we're eager to move these policies forward through the American
Families Plan and American Jobs Plan put forth by the Biden-Harris
Administration.
Women's March is proud to be on the front lines of the fight for things
like access to affordable child care, a child tax credit, and paid family
leave for all. But the important organizing and advocacy work it will take
to get these policies passed — especially with the GOP trying to block our
progress at every turn — will take a lot of work, and honestly, a lot of
funding. So, in honor of Mother's Day, we have to ask:

Marshall Plan for Moms. Anything you chip in to Women's March today will
make an important difference, and when you contribute, you'll have the
opportunity to share the name of the mother in your life that you're
donating in honor of today.

Flowers and gifts are a great way to celebrate Mother's Day. But let's
take a moment to consider what else moms really want:
💐 Paid family leave for all
💐 Child tax credits
💐 Equal pay and a fair, living wage
💐 Reproductive health and rights
💐 Access to quality, affordable child care
💐 And so much more
Moms have been devastated by this crisis, and Women's March has been busy
organizing to get moms the support needed to fully recover and prosper.
Earlier this week, we hosted a webinar with Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) and
Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner from MomsRising. And for the entire month of May
so far, we've been taking daily action to fight to help create women's
jobs, level the playing field, and secure the care and support women need
and deserve in order to thrive.
All of this work is so important — because the truth is, there aren't many
women-led organizations out there who are as focused as Women's March on
securing these priorities for women. If you can, a donation today to
support our work would go a long way.

honor of the mother in your life, will you make a contribution to Women's
March's fight for a Marshall Plan for Moms? When you donate today, you'll
have the opportunity to dedicate your donation to the mother-figure in
your life.
Keep up the fight,
Women’s March
P.S. Flowers are great today,
John, but let's fight together for what
mothers really want: A Marshall Plan for Moms that uplifts all women and
builds women and mothers' equity and political power. [ [link removed] ]Donate
