Hi John,

I'm Keelan Sanders, former Democratic National Committeeman, former Executive Director of the Mississippi Democratic Party, and member of Team JRC. More importantly, I'm the grandson of Mrs. Emma D. Sanders, a former Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party member, former President of the Mississippi Federation of Democratic Women, former Executive Vice-Chair of the Mississippi Democratic Party, and lifelong democratic activist. So as you can imagine, I've been involved in Mississippi politics all my life!

My grandmother and I were talking the other day about the state of affairs of Mississippi politics. She has seen it all and has personally known most of the Democratic candidates and elected officials. As we sat together reflecting on the upcoming November 5 election, we both concluded one thing: Jennifer Riley Collins is the best, most qualified, and community connected candidate we have seen come along in a lifetime. She gives us hope that democracy is not lost to career political operatives and socialites.
