Dear friends:On this Mother’s Day, I send gratitude and the warmest wishes to moms, grandmothers, and mother figures throughout America.
We honor the sacrifice and service of America’s mothers in uniform, including mothers who are away from their families on this Mother’s Day as they serve our country.
As we move from this tumultuous chapter in our history, America owes an enormous debt of gratitude to our frontline heroes – many of whom are working moms: health care providers, first responders, our teachers who have been champions for America’s children…and all essential workers keep our country going.
Because of the hard work of our VIPs – our Volunteers In Politics including many hard-working moms – who gave us the White House, House, and Senate, we won and delivered.
Because Democrats won, Help Is Here to crush the virus.
Today, my heart is full in knowing that the COVID rescue package that you made possible will cut child poverty in half.
We are just getting started – more help is on the way.
On Mother’s Day and every day, we miss the mothers who are no longer with us but continue to inspire us.
