administration seems willing to address the historic challenges now facing

During his first address to Congress, President Biden laid out a bold
agenda for the nation – one that will address today’s urgent concerns with
an eye on the future.
The historic moment – with President Biden flanked by Vice President
Kamala Harris and Speaker Nancy Pelosi – captured the attention of the
nation as we grapple with recovering from the pandemic and reclaiming our
democracy from the Far Right’s ongoing efforts to dismantle it.
We’re fighting to stop hate and defend democracy with new campaigns and
initiatives aimed at seizing this pivotal moment. We know that crises such
as attacks on our democracy and our right to vote under attack, police
killings and systemic racism, the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and
vicious far-right hatemongering against the transgender community,
immigrants, people of Asian heritage, and others, we know the challenges
we face demand big, bold, progressive solutions.
