Being a mother has been the most fulfilling challenge of my life, hands down.
Since I was a small girl, I have always been invigorated by new adventures—by endeavors that may not have been easy, but that offered a satisfaction made even more meaningful by the hard work and sacrifices that they called out of me.
Throughout law school, throughout my years advocating for mothers and their precious children, and throughout a life in our nation's capital with its often politically toxic culture, I can easily look back and say that I treasure the gift and responsibility of motherhood far more than anything else.
While traveling the country to protect life, I often think of my three beautiful children. I think about the world that my children will inherit. I think about my two daughters becoming mothers one day, and it inspires to me continue doing the hard things to advance the human right to life and to build a welcoming culture for everyone.
I sincerely wish you a happy Mother's Day! Without partners like you, our vital work prioritizing the needs of vulnerable mothers and children wouldn't be possible. You can help make the gift of motherhood possible through a charitable gift to sustain our nationwide work. Your support matters.
Blessings from my family to yours, and in honor of mothers everywhere, and the sacrifice mothers make for their children and our future.
