Happy Mother’s Day! This is one of my favorite days of the year. Because today, we take time to pause and honor all the moms in our lives, and recognize the incredible blessing of motherhood.

God uniquely made women to carry and give birth to children. And from the very beginning, moms share a special bond with their children. Even Jesus shared this bond with his mom, Mary. In fact, in some of His last moments on the cross, He ensured that she would be cared for after He was gone (John 19:26-27).

In honor of Mother’s Day, a group of generous donors provided a $175,000 Matching Grant to expand the National Rescue System and empower more moms with the hope and help they need to choose life for their children.
