Happy Europe Day to you! 71 years ago, we united in diversity to build peace and prosperity. This year we have only one wish: to get out of this crisis and build a greener Europe! Our mission is more important than ever and we need your support.
The year 2020 brought one of the worst health and economic crises we have ever experienced, while the climate crisis is becoming ever more urgent. In response, some national governments resort to populism and nationalism, opening yet again a way for far-right politicians to further chip away at the freedoms of their citizens. We cannot allow that.
The Greens have never been bigger and more powerful than today, and we are only at the beginning of our journey to transform Europe. By changing EU laws to tackle the climate emergency and fighting for equality, solidarity, justice and dignity, we show that we can succeed if we wage our fight at the European level.
Now is our chance to turn the Green Recovery into reality and build a fairer, greener and more just Europe. Join us on this Europe Day and take charge of your future.
