NH FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN
DEAR ,
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO JOINED US FOR OUR RECEPTION THIS PAST THURSDAY
WITH COREY LEWANDOSKI. IT WAS TERRIFIC TO SEE SO MANY MEMBERS OF OUR
REPUBLICAN PARTY JOINED TOGETHER IN SUPPORT OF CONSERVATIVE
LEADERSHIP. WE DEEPLY APPRECIATE EVERYONE WHO WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE
TICKETS IN SUPPORT OF OUR EVENT
I would also like to congratulate Alderman-elect Sebastian Sharonov
on his victory this past week in the Manchester Ward 6 Special
Election. I know Sebastian’s grassroots campaign, along with the
efforts of Manchester GOP Chair by Rep. Will Infantine, delivered a
victory for Manchester taxpayers tonight. Mayor Joyce Craig not only
endorsed, but heavily campaigned for the opposing (D) candidate, and
the results speak for themselves. Manchester taxpayers are tired of
what they’re getting from Mayor Craig and the Manchester Democrats
and they are ready to vote for change this November.
BE SURE TO STAY ALERT FOR UPCOMING EVENTS! ENTERING THE SUMMER MONTHS,
WE EXPECT A VARIETY OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVOLVEMENT TO ARISE, AND
HOPE YOU’LL JOIN US IN RECONNECTING WITH FELLOW REPUBLICANS FROM
ACROSS THE STATE.

MOVING FORWARD, WORKING TOGETHER FOR NH
_ BY STATE REP SHERMAN PACKARD_
A little over a year ago, New Hampshire began facing a public health
crisis that changed the way we lived and the way we worked. That
proved challenging to everyone, and the Legislature was no exception.
From the onset of the Governor’s Stay at Home and Safer at Home
guidelines, to today where those guidelines are being peeled away in a
measured attempt to reopen New Hampshire safely, there is much to
reflect upon.
While each legislative year comes with its own unique set of
challenges, the beginning of the current term cast a shadow over a
promising victory for Republicans as we earned back the majority in
the House. Moving past the sudden passing of my good friend and
colleague former Speaker Dick Hinch was a tremendous task – one that
unexpectedly propelled me forward into the Speakership. Understanding
former Speaker Hinch’s desire to work together – across the aisle
– to complete the work our constituents sent us to Concord to do, my
leadership team and staff got to work.
Having to follow COVID-19 guidelines, and with the Statehouse Complex
being closed to the public, we developed a hybrid model for House
policy committee meetings that allowed us to provide a safe,
risk-mitigated environment for members and a way to conduct
legislative business with little-to-no interruptions. Each committee
meeting was set up via Zoom webinar for in-person and at-home
attendees to fully participate and allow for public access despite the
complex’s closure to the public. We developed extensive health and
safety protocols, deployed PPE, and updated our internal procedures.
We deployed portable HEPA air filtration systems with anti-contagion
UV-C light treatment in each meeting room, and throughout the
Statehouse to provide an additional layer of risk mitigation to our
working environments....

DEMOCRATS’ NATIONAL AGENDA CONTRARY TO NEW HAMPSHIRE PRINCIPLES
_ BY STATE REP JASON OSBORNE_
Last week much of America listened to President Joe Biden’s first
national address with much chagrin. What America heard was a president
who doesn’t trust states’ rights, a president who wants to dictate
how average citizens in New Hampshire live their lives, and punish the
states like New Hampshire who are doing things right. He wants to make
states like New Hampshire, who have only 3% unemployment and a low
overall tax burden, look more like California or Massachusetts.
President Biden’s radical agenda at the national level is proposing
huge tax increases, infringing on your Second Amendment rights, and
dismantling states’ voting laws, but New Hampshire Republicans led
by Speaker Packard, Senate President Morse, and Governor Sununu are
leading the way ensuring the exact opposite happens on the state
level.
Nationally, the left wing threatens to increase taxes on businesses
while the New Hampshire House passed a budget that lowers both the
Business Profits Tax and the Business Enterprise tax. When taxes are
increased on businesses, those costs are passed along to the end user
of their products and service: you and I, the consumer. However, when
business taxes are reduced, the savings benefit the consumer by
lowering prices....

REPUBLICAN SPOTLIGHT :SEBASTIAN SHARONOV
This week’s Republican Spotlight is Sebastian Sharonov - Manchester
Ward 6’s newest Aldermen-elect! Sebastian is a real representation
of the American dream, having grown up outside of Ukraines Capital. He
immigrated to the United States in 2012, becoming a naturalized U.S
citizen just three years later. During the next 4 years, Sebastion
served in the United States Army before voluntarily separating on
honorable conditions to further his education. Now Sebastian is a
member of U.S Army Reserves, while continuing to pursue legal
education.
Endorsed by Governor Chris Sununu, Sebastian Sharonov ran in order to
protect the city’s tax cap as well as ensure a high quality of life
to Manchester residents. His opposing candidate was less firm on his
stance towards these issues and had a heavy endorsement from current
Mayor Joyce Craige. The NHGOP and fellow Republicans from across the
state would like to congratulate Sebastion on his victory, and
celebrate the strong consrvative leadership that will be provided to
Granite Staters through his election! Thank you for your deep
commitment to the local community.
