Hi John,

It's important to me that you're kept informed on everything I'm doing in Congress for PA-05 -- and we had quite a busy April, both in Washington and at home! Here are just a few examples of what I've been working on:
+ I voted in favor of the Paycheck Fairness Act, which passed the House in an important step towards ending gender-based wage discrimination.
+ My latest bill, the Driving for Opportunity Act, was approved by the House Judiciary Committee, which means we're that much closer to ending debt-based driver's license suspensions nationwide.
+ I proudly voted for the NO BAN Act and the Access to Counsel Act, which would prevent the discriminatory travel bans we saw under the Trump administration from ever happening again.
+ I testified before the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure on the impact the American Jobs Plan would have on our district. If this plan passes, it would address decades of underfunding and maintenance backlogs so our region can build back better.
