Ted Cruz threw a full-on tantrum in response to corporations speaking out against Georgia’s voter suppression law -- proudly admitting he’s been a stooge for lobbyists in exchange for checks to his campaign.

As a former CEO of a renewable energy company, I know that businesses can play a role in building a fair, green economy where everyone can succeed. But my job as an elected official is to work on behalf of the American people -- not the American dollar.

Cruz is one of the top fundraisers in the GOP, and he threw his full support behind my far-right opponent last cycle -- will you chip in to my campaign today to ensure we can combat outside spending and keep up the fight to defend our democracy?

Since day one in office, I’ve shut my door to the NRA and led legislation to end big oil and gas subsidies and hold polluters accountable. In Congress, I’m fighting to enact historic reform legislation to get big money out of politics and strengthen ethics rules for elected officials like Cruz.

But Cruz is more than a corrupt politician engaging in backroom deals -- as a member of the Sedition Caucus, Cruz is an active threat to our democracy:

Cruz deployed his personal PAC to try and unseat me last time around -- and he’s made it known that he’ll be working hand in hand with President Trump to retake the House in 2022.
