Mitch McConnell has made it abundantly clear what his priority is: obstruct, obstruct, obstruct.

Back during the Obama administration, McConnell said “the single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

And when Republicans won control of the Senate in 2014, McConnell and his allies blocked President Obama and Democrats at every turn.

Obstruction was their strategy then, and it’ll be their strategy again if we fail to protect and expand our fragile Democratic majority.

Even as millions are still reeling from the pandemic, McConnell and the GOP are showing that they’d rather play politics with people's lives than do their jobs and serve the American people.

No wonder Democrats had to pass a $1.9 trillion pandemic relief bill all by ourselves!

Our current 50-50 Senate leaves Democrats with no room for error, and that’s why the upcoming midterm elections are so crucial.
