Republicans-controlled state legislatures are moving quickly to pass outrageous voter suppression bills that they think will reduce Democratic turnout in elections to come.
The Texas House just passed an election bill that has been condemned by civil-rights groups, major corporations, and Texans across the state. On the premise of Donald Trump’s big lie that the 2020 election was stolen, Abbott led the Texas GOP in passing legislation that will limit early voting hours, prohibit drive-through voting, and increase criminal penalties for voting irregularities.

Our mission just became dramatically more important and our path to victory just got a heck of a lot harder. We need to step on the gas and get rid of Texas Republicans who will stop at nothing to disenfranchise Texas voters and restrict access to the ballot box.
This bill will make it harder for Democrats to win in 2022 so we’ve got to do even more to lay the groundwork for Democratic victories.
