1. WRAL: Two Pro-Life bills advance at General Assembly
The Human Life Non-Discrimination Act Updates: “The House voted 67-42 for a bill that would make it illegal to obtain an abortion specifically because of the presumed race of the fetus or because of a Down syndrome diagnosis <[link removed]>.”
“Sponsor Rep. Pat McElraft <[link removed]>, R-Carteret, wept as she read a letter from a child with Down syndrome. ‘I know in my heart that I am God’s child, and I love my life,’ the child wrote.
Following passage in the House, the bill now heads to the Senate.”
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act Updates:
“Earlier Thursday, the Senate Health Care committee approved the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would make it a misdemeanor for a doctor not to provide care for an infant born after a botched abortion. It also would create a duty for other health care professionals to report any such failure to act.”
“Fitzgerald and other social conservatives pressed for the bill, calling the treatment for such infants a civil rights issue.
‘The right to an abortion should not translate to a right to a dead child, no matter what,’ Fitzgerald said. ‘This is really about infanticide, plain and simple.’
The committee passed the measure on a voice vote, and it will likely be on the Senate floor next week.”

2. TAKE ACTION: 👣 The Human Life Non-Discrimination Act passes NC House and now heads to Senate.
Yesterday afternoon the State House debated and passed the Human Life Nondiscrimination Act at the General Assembly. You can watch the debate and listen to our great bill sponsors and others who strongly supported the bill by clicking here <[link removed]>.
The Human Life Non-Discrimination Act seeks to prohibit abortions based on race and/or the prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome. All babies−born and unborn− have intrinsic dignity and worth and should be protected from the practice of eugenic abortion. The bill will move to the Senate for consideration. <[link removed]>

3. NC VALUES VOICE: Live with Barronelle Stutzman
On Wednesday of this week, we held a special one-hour episode of the voice with Barronelle Stutzman . If you remember, Barronelle is the grandmother who has found herself at the U.S. Supreme Court twice to lead the fight for religious liberty after the State of Washington sought to punish her for declining to provide her creative services for a same-sex ceremony..
During the Voice episode, Tami Fitzgerald sat down with Barronelle, the sole owner of Arlene’s Flowers in Richland, Washington, and her attorney Matt Sharp, Senior Counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom during an NC Values Coalition statewide education tour. During this presentation at Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresville NC, Barronelle explained why she respectfully declined to use her creative skills to celebrate a same-sex ceremony.

4. THE DAILY SIGNAL: Voters in Dallas Suburb Lead Revolt Against Critical Race Theory Curriculum
“Smith noted that she and others worked to educate voters about what critical race theory is and how destructive it would be. Then, she and other members of the community made public records requests to ascertain how extensively those ideas were being propagated behind closed doors.
“We used [Freedom of Information Act requests] to really find out what our district was doing, and that empowered us with information that we could then use to fight against it,” she said.
What’s important about this rebuke of critical race theory and its advocates is not just that the doctrine was unpopular, but how parents and other opponents organized to stop it.
It raises the larger question: Is this just temporary good news or the beginning of a larger movement?”

5. NSJ ONLINE: Wake County Schools’ administrator denies Critical Race Theory district offerings
“In a previous article <[link removed]>, it was reported that the state’s largest school district had been partnering with a training firm founded and run by state Rep. Graig Meyer (D-Orange) to provide 'equity' training.
That organization, the Equity Collaborative, has contracted with Wake County Public Schools (WCPSS) for training that included a recently pulled course, titled 'Intro to Critical Race Theory.' It had also conducted a “Racial Equity Institute” and other professional development courses that utilize the controversial Critical Race Theory.
Assistant superintendent of the WCPSS Office of Equity Affairs (OEA) Rodney Trice wrote an email on March 21 <[link removed]> to the WCPSS board members about 'the emails and calls some of us have received about Critical Race Theory.' In spite of all evidence to the contrary, Trice refuted the idea that the district had used Critical Race Theory.“

Spirit and unite us in Your family, Lord.
Thank You for loving us first. In Your love for the
whole world, You sent Your Son to save us.
Jesus, in You alone we have abundant and
everlasting life. Thank you for teaching and
leading us to love and live, fruitful, and faithful.
In Your life, death, resurrection, and ascension
You are our Lord, our love, our life, and our
liberty. You came to “bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives and
freedom to prisoners.” You have freed us from
the penalty and shame of our sin; free to live
life as You designed and Your destiny
for our Nation.
Spirit search us, convict us, as we repent for
our sin and the sins of America. Please cleanse,
fill, and send us. We rejoice, knowing that Your
forgiveness makes us acceptable and effective
vessels for Your love, life and liberty in our
family, church, education, workplace, military,
government, art, entertainment, and media.
We pray that America will be united in love to
serve You with all our hearts, all our ways, and
all of our days. Unite us to pray, love; to live and
walk by the Spirit. Conform and transform us
as we pray and proclaim, “Now the Lord is the
Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is liberty.”
