So what does this all mean, exactly?

The bad news: Historically speaking, the odds of us maintaining our majority in the House and Senate are not in our favor.

The good news: We have an opportunity to change this—but only if we act now, work hard to break from the historical mold, and do everything we can to keep our progress and momentum going into the rest of 2021 and 2022, with full force.

Thanks to this team, we were able to send six powerful Truth to Power candidates to join me in Washington during our first election cycle. We proved that candidates who unapologetically stand for working families and progressive values can win elections, many times over.

And, John, there’s no shortage of work for us to do. We need to start restoring people’s trust in our government. We need to clean up the corruption in our political system, listen to our scientists to safely navigate COVID-19, make quality healthcare available to everyone in our country, take immediate action to save our planet, prevent greedy corporations from exploiting our communities, and so much more.
