That's right: Our representative in Congress -- Tom McClintock -- refuses to request support for our district in federal spending bills. So while everyone else's representative is securing projects for their district, our representative is sitting on his hands doing nothing.

President Biden's infrastructure plan is currently moving through Congress, and it allocates funding for upgrading electrical grids, bridges, roads, and more. California's fast-growing 4th district has more needs than most. We face emerging wildfire threats. We are home to 40% of California's watershed. And our highways connect the world's fifth largest economy with the rest of America.

Infrastructure investment means more jobs, broadband connectivity, less traffic, and a higher quality of life.

Yet because Tom McClintock won't fight for our community, our local governments are forced to spend even more tax dollars hiring outside lobbyists to do his job for him.

It's ridiculous.

Then again, how can we expect Tom McClintock to fight for these infrastructure projects in our district -- he doesn't even live here.
