The National Republican Campaign Committee broke its own fundraising records in the first three months of this year, and now they're scaling up their efforts to retake the House in 2022.
This week, they added 10 new incumbent Democratic targets to their list of vulnerable House seats. This includes members in Democratic strongholds like New York and Illinois. It also brings the total number of Democrats on their list to 57!
Clearly, the GOP feeling emboldened and ready to go on the attack in 2022. We need to be ready to fight them in every one of these seats.
The stakes in every House contest could not be higher, with Democrats holding a single-digit margin in the House.
If we lose the House, President Biden's agenda is dead on arrival. Worse, we know from recent history that a Repbulican House majority will abuse the powers they gain to waste time and taxpayer money on frivolous politically-motivated investigations meant to damage President Biden's reelection in 2024.
There is simply too much on the line for us to let the Republicans recapture the House in 2022.
