Hi John,
This April, Run for Something reached a huge milestone:
500 diverse, young progressives elected to state and local office.
Our 500th winner and newest member of the Montgomery City Council, Marché Johnson, exemplifies the very best of our candidates. She ran in 2019 and
lost by 6 damn votes, but Marché's tenacity and vision of progress kept her in the fight -- and thanks to her, we've made history.
It's been years in the making, John. Since 2017 this community has worked our tails off to rebuild our party's infrastructure from the ground up. By donating, volunteering, recruiting candidates, or elevating our endorsed candidates to your network -- every bit of your hard work brought us to this moment.
And let's not forget the impact our winners have had on peoples' lives: They've expanded Medicaid to hundreds of thousands of people, protected our freedom to vote in a pandemic, canceled school contracts with police, expanded affordable housing, eliminated cash bail, banned conversion therapy, and
much more.
This community is a driving force for progress in America, and it's all thanks to committed progressives like you, John.
With that said, 500 isn't an ending -- it's a start.
Here's your Run for Something Roundup, take a peek and stay involved.

Thank you -- really, you don't get to 500 wins without a kickass community. I'm grateful every day for this one,
