John,
Horrific new legislation passed in Idaho removes nearly all limits on wolf hunting and authorizes hunters and private contractors to exterminate 90% of the state's wolf population. We're fighting back – and there's something you can do to help.
Under a federal law known as the Pittman Robertson Act, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service gives Idaho and other states millions of dollars each year to fund state wildlife-management projects. Such conservation funds can only be entrusted to states that have demonstrated their commitment to actual wildlife conservation.
Please ask the agency to disqualify Idaho from receiving federal funding for wildlife management unless the state immediately repeals its wolf-extermination legislation.
