Yesterday, Mitch McConnell made his priority clear for the whole world to
see: "One-hundred percent of my focus is on stopping this new
administration."
With Republicans pushing and passing racist voter suppression laws across
the country to put McConnell and other Republicans back in power, we
should be just as clear.
Our top priority is on protecting voting rights and our democracy.

Rights Act and the For The People Act -- two federal laws that will
override racist state voter suppression laws and protect our democracy.
One of the big outcomes Republicans hope to get from voter suppression
laws is to give Mitch McConnell the Senate gavel again. And they are
moving full-speed ahead.
Just today, Florida's governor signed a voter suppression law that is
every bit as sinister as the law Republicans in Georgia passed last month.
Mitch McConnell has made himself clear. He will use every bit of power he
has now or gets through voter suppression in 2022 to obstruct Biden just
like he obstructed Obama.

Voting Rights Act and the For The People Act -- two federal laws that will
override racist state voter suppression laws and protect our democracy.
We're keeping our allies in Congress informed as tens of thousands more
people sign.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
