John, I really am outraged. Today, Governor DeSantis signed the Florida legislature's voter suppression bill into law. GOP legislatures across the country have moved quickly to push through some of the most aggressive, racist voter suppression laws in years.

Republicans are attacking voting rights for one reason: to keep Democrats from winning elections. They know that when we get out to vote in large numbers, Democrats win.

This is a threat to our democracy, which is why my House colleagues and I have passed the For the People Act. This bill includes the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect voting rights across the country.

Now, we need your help to get it passed into law. Republicans split the Senate evenly with Democrats, so we’re facing an uphill climb. Will you sign on today to show your support for voting rights?
