Here’s some of our favorite accomplishments over the session:
The Climate Commitment Act — this bill will drastically lower our greenhouse gas emissions to net zero and focus on improving the environment in overburdened communities with huge investments in our infrastructure
Our landmark operating budget, which includes a robust pandemic response, small business tax relief, support for schools, and support for renters and homeowners
The Fair Start for Kids Act will stabilize our childcare industry, making it more accessible
A ban on for-profit prisons and expansion of voting rights for those out of prison
Increases in transparency in policing and a ban on chokeholds and no-knock warrants
And so much more!
