After more than a year in the shadow of COVID-19, NCOA is continuing to work at a breakneck pace to help all older adults and organizations that serve them recover from the pandemic.
Since the beginning of the crisis, we helped local organizations around the country keep older adults safe through a series of important initiatives:
- Distributing emergency funds to community-based organizations, especially those in under-served communities.
- Creating resources for aging services professionals who needed to learn how to deliver their services online.
- Sharing the latest, trustworthy information about how older adults can stay safe and get the help they need.
- Educating lawmakers in Congress about protecting and offering relief to seniors.
But, John, there's still so much more to do.
