The Texas House passed the Texas Heartbeat Act, but we still have a few more steps...

Have you heard the incredible news?

Your Pro-Life efforts have secured a major victory! The Texas Heartbeat Act (Senate Bill 8 by Senator Bryan Hughes and sponsored by Representative Shelby Slawson) passed the Texas House! This is your victory, made possible by your sacrificial support and donations.

Friend, this is just the beginning. The Texas Heartbeat Act is the strongest Pro-Life legislation to be passed by the Texas House. When signed into law, the act will abolish all abortions after the point when a preborn child’s heartbeat is detectable.

But there are still a couple of steps to go...
First, the bill will go to the Senate for final approval, and then would be signed into law by the governor. The Texas Heartbeat Act would be slated to take effect September 1, 2021.
