Hi John --
If you haven't heard already, May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. It's especially important to celebrate this year, as it's been a difficult one for the AAPI community across the country.
There's no doubt that AAPI people have made incredible contributions to American society throughout our history. We've built businesses, educated generations, and left our mark on American culture in the arts. We've also led this country as public servants at every level of government.
Despite all this, as the coronavirus spread last year, we saw an alarming and heartbreaking rise in anti-Asian violence throughout the US. The scapegoating of AAPI people as a cause of the disease was and continues to be a depraved, craven act of political opportunism by right-wing politicians.
ASPIRE has made it our mission to elect AAPI leaders and allies to office in every part of this country, but we need your help. We're updating our records so that we can show how strong the support is for AAPI leaders. If you want to see more AAPI representation in office, we need you to answer our survey question below today.
Do you support more AAPI leadership in office?

Thanks in advance for participating in our survey. We couldn't do this without you.
