We need hundreds of thousands of signatures to show CVS we won’t accept their $5 million donation to fight Medicare for All.

National Nurses United

In case you missed our recent email, we wanted to make sure you heard the news: in a year marked by a pandemic that has killed millions, CVS Health quietly made a $5 million donation to the largest dark-money lobbying group fighting against Medicare for All.

CVS Health knows that under Medicare for All, they won’t be able to price gouge patients on medications, and the insurance company Aetna (which they own) won’t be able to deny coverage or surprise patients with massive medical bills. Plain and simple, they’re choosing to put profits over patients, and we won’t stand for it.

We have a unique opportunity to tell CVS Health that enough is enough. In exactly one week, the company is holding their annual shareholders meeting, where active shareholders will have the opportunity to express any concerns they may have with how CVS Health is running their company.

If we put on the pressure, we can put their reputation at risk at a critical moment for the company, and tell CVS loudly and clearly that we won’t accept their efforts to undermine Medicare for All.

We need hundreds of thousands of signatures to tell CVS Health that we see how hard they’re fighting against healthcare justice — and it’s not going to work. With one week until the meeting, will you add your name to tell them to stop putting profits over patients once and for all?

We know that Medicare for All is the popular, necessary, and urgent solution to a broken, for-profit healthcare system. But corporate healthcare money is corrupting our political system, blocking the transition to a single-payer healthcare system we need.

Together, we can stop the flow of funds, and demand that corporations stop putting profits over people.

If you’re ready to hold CVS Health accountable at this pivotal moment, sign the petition now, and we’ll be in touch soon with actions we can take the day of the meeting.

Thank you for standing with us as we fight for healthcare justice. We’re so grateful to have you on our team.

Let’s do this!
