House Republicans are in chaos.

According to new reporting from POLITICO , Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is backing an effort to oust Rep. Liz Cheney from the Republican leadership over her refusal to support Donald Trump’s Big Lie that the election was stolen.

From Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s conspiracy theories to McCarthy himself defending the Big Lie, it’s clear that House Republicans are continuing to align themselves with Donald Trump and the extreme right.

And if they take back the House, Leader McCarthy will very likely become Speaker McCarthy , giving the extreme right an even bigger platform in Congress. We can’t let that happen.
