Representative Elise Stefanik is one of Trump’s biggest lackeys in Congress. For years she supported the MAGA agenda and defended him through BOTH impeachment trials. After Trump lost, she heralded Big Lie conspiracies about voter fraud in Georgia and was one of the most vocal of The 147 lawmakers whose lies incited the January 6th insurrection.
Representative Elise Stefanik meteoric rise makes one thing clear: only those willing to lie for Trump will be eligible for leadership positions in today’s Republican Party.
If the GOP retakes the majority in 2022, Elise Stefanik won’t just be another lying Trump puppet. She will be in a majority leadership position powerful enough to legislate her lies into law. In other words, if she’s willing to claim 140,000 Georgia votes should be thrown in the trash, how long before she trashes your vote?
