John,

In a democracy, no person -- Democrat or Republican -- should be
forced to pledge blind loyalty to a political leader. But that's
exactly what Republicans are doing to members of their own party.

Back in January, 10 House Republicans joined Democrats in
voting to impeach Donald Trump for inciting an insurrection
against the United States. One of those Republicans was Rep. Liz
Cheney, who stated afterwards that "there has never been a
greater betrayal by a President of the United States."

In that moment, Rep. Cheney put country over party and voted
with her conscience -- a decision she's now paying the price for.

Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is coordinating with
Donald Trump to have Rep. Cheney removed from her House
leadership position as punishment for her vote for impeachment.

The GOP is too far gone to be trusted with putting the
interests of the American people over their allegiance to Donald
Trump. As we head towards the 2022 midterms, it has never been
more critical for you to help us keep the House in Democrats'
hands.

Can I count on you to support me as I fight to defend my own
seat and help my fellow Democrats keep the House blue in 2022?
