John,
Since early childhood, Malcolm Kenyatta has always fought against the
odds.
Growing up in the projects of North Philadelphia, Malcolm Kenyatta watched
as his mom was forced to ration her insulin just to make sure that he and
his siblings had enough food to eat.
Malcolm knows what it's like to be evicted, have his lights cut off, and
attend schools that don’t have all the resources they need.
That’s why at the age of 12 Malcolm started working a minimum wage job to
support his family.
And it's why Malcolm Kenyatta got his start as a community advocate in
North Philly, mentoring kids, organizing block clean-ups, and bringing in
political candidates to talk to voters in the neighborhood.
Malcolm’s story is the story of many people in Pennsylvania and across
America.
With your help, Malcolm can make history as the first openly gay Senator
ever elected in the United States. [ [link removed] ]Will you contribute to Malcolm’s

In 2018 Malcolm was elected as the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color and
one of the youngest members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
In Harrisburg, Malcolm Kenyatta worked to address generational poverty,
raise the minimum wage, protect workers' rights, increase access to mental
healthcare, and stem gun violence.
Malcolm has led the charge on big ideas that will make the government more
effective and responsive for poor and working-class families and will
carry his experiences from childhood to being a state representative with
him every step of the way.
Malcolm is building a true people-powered campaign, which means he’s
counting on support from grassroots progressives to take on big corporate
interests and win. [ [link removed] ]Rush a donation to DFA and Malcolm today so we can
elect this progressive as the next Senator of Pennsylvania.
