John,

Colorado has the 11th highest rate of homelessness in the nation, and homelessness has gone up each of the past four years. In the City of Denver alone, over 4,000 residents -- including over 900 youth -- face homelessness, and the COVID-19 pandemic has only made this worse.

That's why Diana is working hard to secure $12 million of federal funds to support non-profit organizations addressing the homelessness crisis in Denver. This funding would be used for shelter reconstruction, units of supportive housing, health care, necessary support services, and so much more.

No one who is experiencing or at-risk of homelessness should have to face Colorado's severe weather conditions, the uncertainty of where they will sleep at night, or the dangers of being unsheltered. All Denver residents should have access to the services that they need to live safe and fulfilling lives.

Federal funding is critical to reducing homelessness in Denver, and we are proud to partner with the City and local organizations in these efforts. If you agree that funding to reduce homelessness should be a priority, add your name now to show your support >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Team DeGette

Diana is relying on grassroots donors to continue fighting for Colorado values in Congress. Can we count on you to chip in $5 -- or whatever you can today -- to help her keep fighting?
