The Lugar Center recently released the House bipartisanship scores for the 116th Congress. The results were disappointing but not surprising: Jim Jordan ranked 435th out of 437 members scored.
And just last week, the American Conservatives Union reported that Jim Jordan set a new record for conservatism. He earned his 14th straight 100 percent on the yearly rating of members of Congress, which is an all time record.
That's right: Jim Jordan's extremism is literally unprecedented.
My opponent is one of the most polarizing and far right members in all of Congress. He almost never works across the aisle to get anything done and always puts scoring political points above working for his constituents.
Jordan hasn’t gotten one bill passed in his 14 years in office. It’s time for new leadership for Ohio’s Fourth District.
I’m running for Congress because I’m tired of representatives fighting for extreme ideologies, special interests, and their own careers when they should be looking out for working Ohioans.
I want to go to Washington and fight for what we really need – good jobs, affordable health care, and the chance to give our kids a fair shot at a good life. Jim Jordan has made it clear those just aren’t his priorities.
Will you chip in any amount you can to my campaign today to elect a working class voice to Congress? Let’s send Jim Jordan a message: his extremist ideologies are not welcome here.
