Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just signed a new voter suppression bill into law, live on Fox News.

This law will add hurdles to voting by mail, curb the use of ballot drop boxes and require voters to reapply for absentee ballots every two years.

The Florida GOP basically admitted their suppression law will make it harder for military members to vote, but they couldn’t exempt them from the new law because it would raise equal protection claims for everyone else!

But the fact that they considered it is proof that this law isn’t really about stopping voter fraud -- it’s about ensuring that Democratic leaning voters have a harder time getting their ballots counted. It’s outrageous and goes against the very soul of the democracy we fought for.

That’s why VoteVets is fighting back. We went into our vast network and talked to veterans who could support the case as plaintiffs, witnesses, and as vocal opponents of the law, using their voices as military veterans to do so. But there is more work to be done, and we need your support. So please:
