GOP state legislators and Trump-aligned activists in California not only passed the 1.5 million signature threshold needed to trigger a recall election, but Republican pro-recall groups have already raised over $5 million to defeat Governor Newsom.

Even a state as Blue as California is not safe from Republican attacks. And with this kind of momentum, we could see a Republican like Caitlyn Jenner or another Trump-aligned candidate take over.

Even worse – if they succeed, not only will this be disastrous for Californians, it could embolden Trump's Republicans even more across the country.
