Hey there John,

We’re only hours away from our 2021 Virtual Gala, which means if you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, this is your last chance. Can I count on you to RSVP before tonight John?

We'll be welcoming a whole slate of speakers, special guests, and entertainers. And we'll be honoring some of our community's most inspiring champions, including Arianna Nassiri with our Rising Star Award, Ali Ghambari with our Community Impact Award, and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with our Courage Award!

We're also excited to announce that Lily Sarafan will be receiving NIAC's 2021 Legacy Award! The Legacy Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding civic and charitable responsibility, and whose visionary generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles within the communities.

Lily has been part of NIAC from the beginning, first working with us in the early 2000s as a Fellow, then serving on our board, before becoming Board Chair in 2016. Today, she is a major supporter who has helped ensure that NIAC has the resources to cultivate the next generation of Iranian-American leaders. She's also the founder and chair of the largest network of in-home care providers caring for seniors with dementia, serves on the Stanford Board of Trustees and on the California Governor’s Alzheimer’s Task Force, and has served on the boards of many Iranian-American community organizations, including Pars Equality Center and Moms Against Poverty.

We hope you'll join us tonight at 8pm ET/5pm PT to celebrate Lily and all of our other honorees. But time is running out to secure your spot for our 2021 Virtual Gala, so make sure to grab your ticket now!

See you there!

Jamal Abdi
President, NIAC
