Help is on the way to restaurants.

I’m proud to announce that help is on the way for restaurants, just in time for Small Business Week.

The economic fallout from the coronavirus has hit all small businesses incredibly hard, but it’s been especially difficult for the restaurant industry. Sadly, more than 100,000 restaurants have had to permanently close their doors over the course of the past year.

Thankfully, the American Rescue Plan and its $28 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund are providing a crucial lifeline to restaurants, bars, food trucks, wineries, distilleries, bakeries, and other food service businesses across Maryland and the entire country.

TEAM DUTCH POLL:
Do you approve of the American Rescue Plan and what it does to keep restaurants and small businesses open?

YES >>             NO >>

Restaurants play such an important role in our communities and local economies.

The Restaurant Revitalization Fund will help restaurant owners keep their doors open and keep workers on the payroll -- and it gives special priority to restaurants owned by women, veterans, and socially and economically disadvantaged business owners.

I want to hear your thoughts -- do you approve of the American Rescue Plan and what it’s doing for restaurants and other small businesses? Click here to take our poll >>
